Just stores info. What's the purpose of having the option to add money if it's not going to work. I tried to add money back in June. The app has been updated recently. Here it is October and I have the same issue. "Sorry something went wrong. Restart app & check the balance to see if the transaction was successful before attempting a new payment".

A horrible company that is only made made worse by its unhelpful customer disservice. I added $85 to my account in preparation for a trip the next day. After the trip I checked my balance and saw it still said $85. Ezpass said my device wasn't active and I'd be responsible for the tolls! I asked them to refund my money and they said 6-8 weeks. I'm using my balance and throwing ezpass in the garbage. I'd rather pay cash then let these blood suckers keep having it. Wish negative star was available.

Just installed, logged in and browsed through the info: quick response, screen design clean and clear, data is accurate. It's a shame that EZPass MD does not have this app!
