With thousands of gyms and climbing areas in our database, KAYA offers a superior logging experience. Videos, ascents, comments, and star ratings are all available within each climb page. If you’ve kept a logbook with another app or website in the past, you can easily upload it into KAYA through your profile page.

KAYA is community-focused. You’ll be notified when your buddy breaks into a new grade so you can leave ‘em a fist-bump and a comment. In-app messenger allows you to connect with other climbers, and, if your gym is on KAYA, receive new set notifications when the routesetting team finishes slinging the freshies.

KAYA challenges are one of the best ways to stay motivated and interact competitively with the climbing community. Go up against the world’s best or compete with your friends at your local competition.

This app has some good concepts. Downloaded the bishop guidebook for offline use and when I got out to the boulders the app gave me literally no information. No topos, no descriptions, no gps pins. Edit: The team at Kaya is great at reaching out and helping with problems. It seems like somehow even though the guide showed it was downloaded for offline use it did not work or was a corrupt download. Tip: Try using the guide in airplane mode before leaving.

Pretty regular user and it's a good app overall but the beta video player could use more controls (only control currently is play/pause; could benefit from a playbar/ability to scroll through video and a slowmo feature to better study beta). Also would really like if it had a filter for 'climbs not sent today' so when I'm doing a set in the morning I can see which ones I have left to do. Thanks!

KAYA attempted to make a feature-rich climbing app and failed at literally everything. After messing around with the slow-loading pages for several hours I'm disappointed to find that there's absolutely no functionality here that's useful to me whatsoever. Even busy gyms will have virtually no activity (ie. user-posted videos of sends) because everyone has given up on this miserable app.
