I don't know what happened but ever since the app was updated with a new UI, I have had nothing but problems. When I try to scan the QR code, the app either requests for permission to use the camera even though I've already allowed it in the past, the app closes and restarts, or it causes my phone to crash and have to reboot. After about 3 or 4 tries and a few reboots it finally works. As others have commented, the payment system is annoying but at least it doesn't cause my phone to crash.

Getting worse, now you are required to answer 3 or 4 questions each time before you charge. Ridiculous, make it easy to use, not horrible. For example you could allow my default profile: charge as fast as possible and give me an option to tell you if I have more time...but majority of occasions I want the maximum charge I can get in the time used. You forcing me to enter this every time does NOT make me more likely to say charge slower if it helps the system!!!

Hi Frank - You only need to set up your charging preferences for your first charge. Your settings are saved and will automatically be applied to your next charge. The new UI is a huge step back. When I go to a place to charge, I often don't have a set amount I want to charge, and I rarely want to charge until full. I usually have an idea of the time range. Please allow me to state that. Sure, if the app could tell me what my charge might be at the end that would be great. Currently I have to go back and forth until the app is happy with the values I have entered. I'm not sure who benefits from that, but it isn't the drivers.
