About this app

The Church of Santa Cruz is one of the most imposing and sublime religious buildings in the city of Braga. Built in different phases, between 1625 and 1736, it is a monument of great value in the context of baroque and proto-baroque art in northern Portugal. Entirely dedicated to the symbology of the Passion of Christ, it displays a profound consistency in the architectural and decorative elements, which are linked to the symbols highlighted in the Gospel accounts.

The visitor is invited to visit this Church, with this audio guide as support, which leads him on an interior and exterior journey. With this audioguide, you will get to know, in a more complete and informed way, the Church of Santa Cruz.

The application has three languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish (Castilian).

Using this application is quite simple and intuitive:

- ask for the code to unlock the application at the entrance to the Church
- select the language in which you want to listen to the audio explanations
- in each theme, and based on a plan of the building, there are numbers assigned to each theme, with informative texts and photographs that help the visitor to complete his visit with information

It is recommended that the user connect their own headphones to their mobile phone in order to listen to the available audio. You can increase and decrease the audio volume on the phone itself.
