Please also note that the Philips Sound app powered by DTS(R) Play-Fi(R) is companion software to audio products enabled with Play-Fi technology. It is not intended as a stand-alone audio player

Asking a mandatory firmware update before allowing you to even use the app, only to have you wait 15 minutes and the update to fail. Then restart the same failing process. Even the soundbar is very buggy, having constant disconnects from the subwoofer, making the sound experience a very bad one. I'm disappointed and sad I chose the same brand as the TV (with Android, another fail there since it's so slow to respond you would rather get up and use the buttons).

When it works, it works great, but there's so many bugs that interfere with the sound, echoes, connection issues.. do not buy the playfi speakers connection is horrible which I didn't expect from an expensive product. You'll just end up with an expensive bluetooth speaker that's never used.

The hardware is fantastic and available for a great price , always liked the Philips build quality . They do require a bit of perseverance with particularly in surround sound mode with two wireless rear (6502) speakers . Need to be unpaired and repaired . You need a good strong WiFi and a bit of technical/diagnostic mindset but otherwise it is great and it is very stable , also have the 6505, all bought at steep discounts and the B95 bar and sub woofer are amazing.
