I really like the People's Daily online, they have good reporting and the app is decent. Giving 1 star because it requires permission to access my phone data, including photos, documents and other media. This is totally unnecessary and I will not be using the app until this is changed.

It's a pleasant news app. The overall user interface is fantastic. All those users complaining about this app asking for permissions that aren't necessary, such as access to media and files, should know that I didn't receive any such requests while using the app!

This app requires me to share access to my files, and personal information like how I share articles. This is unnecessary to the function of the app, but required by the developers to use the app. Complete breach of privacy.
