This app needs LOTS of work (rated as one as zero was not available). It leaves a notification on my and my wife's phone that cannot be removed. Absolutely no description of why being notified. Looks like there is a "X" on the notification icon, but text just states -"Home Network". Cannot remove, unless I force stop and then won't notify. Troubleshooting website is useless. Some links take you to air quality website or don't work at all. In addition, it requires phone location to be on. No reason for that. Requires access to contacts. No reason for that as it only can notify through the app. Would be nice if would send a text or email for notification, so app does not have to run all the time. You have to be on same network as camera to install app. Nice security feature, but won't be good if I get a new phone as I am 700 miles from camera most of the time (hope phone does not die). The app itself seems to be working fine with the one camera (no hub).

real waste. I relied on Panasonic name when bought the system thinking it would be way more reliable than the rest of generic or unknown competition. To be able to discuss provided features, you have to be able to connect. Unfortunately, it can't connect most of the time. It routinely loses connection and then you have to reboot system and try to connect again. It is so unreliable. You have to be present by the system and reboot it. Whole point is to be able to connect remotely and momentarily to system and react to alerts. Another miss is how fast you connect (for those few times it actually connects). It takes minutes of agonizing attempts. Over and over. My Next connects EVERY TIME in 10 secs or so. One aspect of connection reliability is persistence. And it has none- if it lost connection, it is for good. It is not smart enough to detect lack of connection and do something (like restart?). You would have to come to the unit and restart it manually. How to restart darn application on your phone? It can't be hard, right? Restart is really required when app fails to connect and gives up after several tries. Before restarting system, which may be miles away, you'd try to restart this app on the phone. You can't simply pull Exit from drop down menu. You have to go to settings/Apps and force stop it. Then restart phone and then restart app. Then you can try to force app to attempt connecting again. Most worthless monitoring system. Real shame for Panasonic. Useless app.

I downloaded this app and followed the instructions for android. It finds my router, I put in the password and press next. An error pops up saying the camera has no internet connection... But the progress bar still moves, so I leave it. After several minutes I get an error that I put in the wrong password (I did not). I noticed it's kicking me off my phone's wifi connection at the point where the first error pops up. I used a totally different phone. Same thing. It's the app. It's bad. Fix it.
