The Cockpit app helps you easily adjust various electronic prostheses and orthoses from Ottobock to your individual needs in the course of everyday life, and to access information about these components.
• Select preconfigured MyModes (such as cycling or flexed standing)
• Read the charge level of the component
• Display component feedback
• Fine-tune component parameters
• Turn additional component functions on or off
• Easily switch between multiple saved components
• Change signal tones
• Read and reset step counters
• See the next service date

The number and type of MyModes, functions and configurable parameters depend on the component being used. Some older components are not compatible with the Cockpit app.

Usually the app works well with the occasional connection issue but that doesn't generally happen. Today I went to use Cockpit and I had to agree to the new terms of use which I did. After doing so the bluetooth connection spin indicator to the bottom right would never connect. The bluetooh connection does not appear to be working. I even tried uninstalling the app and renstailing the app but still had the same issue. I gave up on riding the stationery bike at the gym and walked off pissed off.

To fix the issue which affected you and some other users, we just released a new Cockpit version 2.8.0.71 If you don’t have automatic app updates enabled, please open Google Play and search for the Ottobock Cockpit update. Update broke the app. Not able to pair with my leg and the software locks up the phone. Totally unusable. Can't change to any modes. BT sees leg but will not pair with it any longer. Phone is a Samsung S10+. Lost all my modes and I'm not able to put them back. I guess it's a good thing that the leg is set to normal so I can walk.

We have just released an update (2.4.83) for the Cockpit app on Google Play, which fixes the connection issue that could happen with the last app version. By installing this update you no longer have to reduce or turn of the power saving setting on the phone. We apologize for the inconvenience this issue may have caused you. The Ottobock team

Just skimming the reviews and not understanding the reviews where people are lost or unable to figure it out. It's level one [one being the easiest] install...like installs and connects itself, unless of course you're using an older component. The functionality and abilities are limited, because of the liability obviously, but more of a useful monitoring tool with limited functions. Tis okay, nothing too substantial and wouldn't expect it to be.
