Omago carsharing service

The application was pretty slow originally, but seems to be faster now after the latest update. Before I did my first booking I realized that an Active subscription would be the cheapest option for me, so I upgraded my account. But nowhere did I see that the upgrade can take several days, so I had to do my booking with the Basic price... I finally got a refund on my Active subscription, since I ultimately did the upgrade by mistake, so thank you for that!

The service is really useful and sensibly priced, and at least where I live the availability and coverage has been good. 🚗 However, the app is very slow at times. 😴 Locking and unlocking the doors takes maybe about 20 sec, though in the moment it feels like 20 years. Also, during car use the app sometimes goes back to the default map view screen and getting back to the reservation screen takes a while, also I've been sometimes randomly logged out before.

Good option for replacing my own car. Used the service for 2 years now, and the app has gotten steadily better over the years. I'm really happy with it overall. The only thing that bugs me constantly is the loading time when opening the app. There is an 8 - 15 second delay in retrieving the content. This is not due to network latency but seems to be caused by the fact that nothing is cached locally. This is especially infuriating during winter when I have to operate my phone without gloves.
