Who is Shaykh Saud Al Shuraim?
Sheikh Saud Al Shuraim is one of the Haram mosque priests who is known for his beautiful voice. He was born on January 19, 1966.

Early in his education, he studied at an elementary school in the city of Areen, then continued his secondary education at a modern school and then attended Al Yarmouk Utara High School. Special, he had become a hafiz or memorizer of the Koran before graduating from high school.

After graduating from high school, he then studied at the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud in Riyadh, he graduated in 1988.
The following year, he entered the institute "Ma'had Al-'aali Lilqadhah" and received his master's degree in 1992. Shortly afterwards he continued his education and earned a Ph.D. from Umm al-Qura University, Makkah in 1995.

Not stopping there, Sheikh Shuraim then succeeded in obtaining the title of professor of sharia and Islamic studies at Umm al-Qura University in Makkah,

Sheikh Shuraim is also known as a researcher in the field of Fiqh and a judge who is also a writer. He has compiled many books about Aqeedah, fiqh and Arabic poetry.
 
Raja Fahd appointed Sheikh Shuraim to be Imam and Khatib at the Haram Mosque in 1991. Shuraim led Tarawih prayers during the month of Ramadan in Mecca since 1991.

The beautiful voice of Sheikh Shuraim when chanting the Koran has been widely recorded and distributed internationally by various media. So beautiful is the sound of Shuraim making Muslims in the Haram Mosque often miss their voices when returning to their home country.
