Hell is the great disgrace, the clear loss, and the painful reward.

Its fire is hot, its ends are sprawling, its bottom is far, its air is poisonous, and its water is warm.

It eats everything, it does not leave or scatter, it burns the skins, it destroys the bones, it melts what is in the stomachs.

He who enters in it is what I lose! He is tormented with the most severe torment, doors are closed for him, heat is poured over his head, and fire burns his face.

His food is al-Dhura’ and al-Zaqqum, his intimate drink and two baths, he cries out for exit or death, and there is no answer.

It is the recompense of those who disbelieved and associate with God and belied the Messengers.

It is the consequence of the oppressors, the arrogant, the people of treachery, hypocrisy, and immorality.

It is the harbinger of those who miss the statutes, cut ties of kinship, violate the sanctities, and make unlawful killings unlawful, consuming usury and orphan money, and spreading immorality.

On the authority of Abd al-A’la, he said: No people sit in a gathering and do not mention Heaven and Hell except that the angels say: p. 16.

- On the authority of Ikrimah in the Almighty’s saying: {It has seven gates} [Al-Hijr: 44] He said: “It has seven dishes.” p. 20.

On the authority of Qatadah: {{For each door of them is a divided part}} [Al-Hijr: 44] He said: “It is, and God will bring down their deeds.” p. 21.
