It has five chapters, and it is a book that is unique in its meaning, the likes of which we have never come across in its abundance and abundance of benefits. We have explained in it the hadiths contained in the prayers and peace of God be upon him, peace and blessings be upon him, and their authenticity, both their goodness and their effects, and we have explained the reasons in their effect. A comprehensive explanation, then the secrets and honor of this supplication, and the rulings and benefits it contains, then the conditions for praying for him, may God bless him and grant him peace, and its places, then discussion of the amount of it that is obligatory and the disagreement of the people of knowledge regarding it, and the preponderance of the more correct and the falsification of the falsified, and what informs the Book beyond its description, and praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.

Muhammad bin Abi Bakr bin Ayoub bin Saad Al-Zar’i Al-Dimashqi, Shams Al-Din, Abu Abdullah, known as Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah. One of the figures of Islamic religious reform in the eighth century AH. He was born in Damascus to Kurdish parents. He studied under Ibn Taymiyyah al-Dimashqi, who was also of Kurdish parents, and was influenced by him. His profession was the Imamate in Jawziyya. Teaching in Al-Sadria and other places. Addressing fatwas and writing. His contact with Ibn Taymiyyah. Historians agree that the date of the meeting was in the year 712 AH, which is the year in which he returned from his trips to Damascus and settled there until he died in Damascus in the year 751 AH.
