📖 The Book of the Virtues of Jerusalem 📖

By Abu Al-Faraj Abdul Rahman bin Abi Al-Hasan Ali bin Muhammad Al-Qurashi Al-Taymi Al-Bakri, known as Ibn Al-Jawzi

Enjoy reading the book The Virtues of Bayt al-Maqdis by Ibn al-Jawzi with the best application for books and stories, without the Internet, and many other features.

Among the Islamic constants is the sanctity of Jerusalem and its blessing that extends to its surroundings. This sanctity is ancient, deeply rooted in the history of the Earth and humanity. Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem is the second mosque on earth after the Kaaba, and in Sahih al-Bukhari on the authority of Abu Dhar al-Ghafari - may God Almighty be pleased with him - he said: “I said: O Messenger of God, which mosque was placed on earth first? He said: The Sacred Mosque. He said: I said: Then Which? He said: Al-Aqsa Mosque. I said: How long was there between them? He said: Forty years. God Almighty said: “Glory be to Him who took His servant by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Aqsa Mosque, whose surroundings We had blessed to show him of Our signs. Indeed, it is poison. He is the All-Seeing One” (Al-Isra, verse 1).

The virtues of Jerusalem are many; It is the land that God Almighty has blessed and sanctified, so it is not mentioned in the Book of God Almighty unless it is associated with the word blessing or holiness. God Almighty mentioned the story of Abraham, peace be upon him, when he made his first migration to Jerusalem, and God Almighty said: (( And We delivered him and Lot to the land which We have blessed for the worlds), and the virtue of Bayt al-Maqdis was mentioned in the Sunnah of the Prophet, and from that is the Prophet’s good news that it would be opened a few ten years before it was opened, and it is the place that will witness the steadfastness of the people of faith in the time of strife, and the Prophet also explained in the hadith the status of Bayt al-Maqdis. ; As it will be the site of the Islamic Caliphate at the end of time, he said: (O Ibn Hawala, if you see the Caliphate descending on the Holy Land, then earthquakes, disasters, and great matters have approached, and the Hour on that day will be closer to the people than this hand of yours is to your head).
