Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr, Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ubaid bin Sufyan bin Qais al-Baghdadi al-Qurashi, their master, one of the loyalists of the Umayyads (208 AH - 281 AH), nicknamed Ibn Abi al-Dunya (and his title overshadowed his name until he became famous for it); Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr was born in the city of Baghdad, at the beginning of the third century AH, in the year two hundred and eight (208 AH). He is an Arab historian and writer, who taught al-Mu'tadid al-Abbasid and his son al-Muktafi Billah.
Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer - may God have mercy on him - said about him in The Beginning and the End: “He is famous for his many books, useful, popular, and popular in chips and other things.

Omar said: This money, by God, if I give it to a people, I will create enmity and hatred among them.

- قال الْأَشْعَثَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ لِبَنِيهِ: يَا بَنِيَّ أَصْلِحُوا الْمَالَ, لِجَفْوَةِ السُّلْطَانِ, وَشُؤْمِ الزَّمَانِ .. قال هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ: ثَلَاثٌ لَا تُصَغِّرُ الشَّرِيفَ: تَعَاهُدُ الضَّيْعَةِ, وَإِصْلَاحُ الْمَعِيشَةِ, وَطَلَبُ الْحَقِّ وَإِنْ قَلَّ

- Muawiya said: The purpose is to provide for one's livelihood, and half of the provisions are enough for you.

- Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: The stomach hardens the heart.

- Sufyan said: Omar used to push the thing he wanted for a year.

- Anas said: I saw between Omar's shoulders four patches.

Omar bin Abdul Aziz said to those sitting with him: Did you see that I delayed the prayer?

- Amer said: There is no wealth greater in reward than the wealth a man leaves for his son, which makes them independent of people.
