Ibn al-Jawzi is Abu al-Faraj Abd al-Rahman bin Abi al-Hasan Ali bin Muhammad al-Qurashi al-Taymi al-Bakri. A Hanbali jurist, hadith scholar, historian and theologian (510 AH / 1116 AD - 12 Ramadan 597 AH) was born and died in Baghdad. He enjoyed wide fame, and a great position in rhetoric, preaching, and classification, as he emerged in many sciences and arts. His lineage goes back to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr Al-Siddiq, and he was known as Ibn Al-Jawzi because of a walnut tree that was in his house in the town of Wasit, and there was no walnut tree in the town except it.

❇️ Some sermons and sermons from Ibn al-Jawzi's book al-La'ali ❇️

1- He singled you out for precedence over the angels and commanded you, and gave you the weapon of jihad and set up the battlefield, so you killed yourself with your sins, so overtake him, and you presented him with your sins as if he had not seen you, and you went against him, so what dare you! And you heard a description of his torment, so what is your patience! And you were an obedient young man, so what changed you?!

2- He created money as a means to the beloved ones offered, so protect them, and I do not think my advice is hated.

3- Fix your thought in your pillars, and ponder the construction of your fingertips, and it is enough for the lessons to be spoken by your tongue whenever it twists, so if you know what it has been blessed with and wear out, and you are certain of what it has done, and the first is {Glory be to the name of your Lord the Most High * Who created and made perfect} [Al-A’la: 1, 2].

4-Beware of heresy; The disease of the innovator does not accept its treatment, the belief of the innovator is a stake in Ramla, and the Sunni’s contract is a nail in a sash [1], the night of the innovator is without morning, and the faces of the Sunnis are morning; “Like a niche in which is a lamp, a lamp in a glass” [An-Nur: 35].

5- How many children did the father suffer for the sake of the children, so when they grew up, they were punished, and disobedience is one of the major sins.

6- One of the people of the Sunnah is a thousand, and a thousand of the people of heresy are lash, the heresy hides his doctrine, and the Sunni is strong, the Sunnah says to the Sunni: Say, and the heresy: Khamoush Bash [2].

7- Struggle against the enemies of the Sunnah, the people of rebellion. {And put your trust in the Living Who does not die} [Al-Furqan: 58].

8- If someone else conceals his belief, we beat our belief with a drum. The one who is oblivious has no understanding, nor the one who is suspicious has brains. Walk on the answer of the Book and the Sunnah.

9- {This is the goods of the life of this world} [Al-Imran: 14] And is the goods but something that is lent out, did you hear the shortcomings of the urgent?! Mishtar buys date wasps?!

١٠- فالنصرُ للمُوحِّدين بحفظ الله صاحبِ الشَّمْسَهْ، كم عثر مبتدع والسنَّة تصيح به تَعْسَهْ، وسيحضر يوم الحساب ويرى جزاء ما انتحل وافترى، إذا ذهب عن عينيه الكرى ﴿ يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ سُوءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ a long time, and God Himself warns you, and God is kind to His servants.” [Al-Imran: 30].
