So God clothed him in the garb of acceptance and popularity, and he wore the garb of commonness, and no student of conscious reading ever read it except that he succeeded and rose in the ladder of jurisprudence by far. Until they said: “Whoever reads the curriculum will be agitated.”
Third: Imam Al-Nawawi - who is the brilliant researcher - summarized it from “Al-Muharrir” by Imam Al-Rafi’i, may God have mercy on him, and added new issues to it.
Fourth: Imam al-Nawawi took an interesting, unique and concise method in his writing and presentation of the sayings of the school of thought, in which he summarized the methods of disagreement in words, and in his sermon on “Al-Minhaj” he explained its terminology, providing the student with jurisprudential knowledge and the terminology that he chose with complete ease and clarity, so it was “Al-Minhaj.” » The essence of Shafi’i jurisprudence, and the essence of the doctrine without dispute.

Since this book had its fame and status among Shafi’i jurists, it was his right to appear in a bright suit befitting his status. Because this led to a long debate on it, Dar Al-Minhaj was determined to publish it in a verified scientific edition, deriving this investigation from the approved manuscript sources, and after serious exploration and wandering through manuscript centers... I found several manuscript copies, including an ancient copy, distinguished by its authenticity and accuracy. ; Because it has approvals in the handwriting of famous scholars such as Al-Hafiz Al-Iraqi and others, it was a copy that was circulated by preservationists, read by jurists, and commented on by investigators, so it deserves consideration, in addition to comparing it with other copies for memorization.

Abu Zakaria Yahya bin Sharaf Al-Hazami Al-Nawawi Al-Shafi’i (631 AH - 1233 AD / 676 AH - 1277 AD), known as “Al-Nawawi,” is a Muslim hadith scholar, jurist, and linguist, and one of the most prominent Shafi’i jurists.
