About this app

Manage notification sounds from one place.

Get a sound alert (from a short beep to a full alarm tone) when your name is mentioned in a group chat, or when a specific person out of the whole group posts a message.

Alertify plays a customizable sound alert upon receiving (specific) notifications from other apps based on keywords within each notification.

Allows customizing notification tones for apps with little to no notification sound Options.

Can play a sound tone even if Notification volume is currently zero/muted (this option is turned off by default). You will only get audio alerted when you receive an important notification based on its content.

NEW: Read internal storage permission is required and will be requested only if you use non-system / custom notification sounds.

Alertify has no internet access and does not share any data.

! On some devices, a reboot may be necessary after an update (if main-menu does not show any of the chosen apps).

*All apps & their icons present in the screenshots are for demonstration of potential use only and are not affiliated with Alertify & Nebruary. Please contact me if you wish any of them changed/removed.

UPD: Xiaomi devices no longer supported as MIUI is incompatible with Notification Listeners.

Changelog:
v2.4
Added an option to prioritize keywords.
'Any Notification' keyword will not replace existing keywords anymore - it will get the lowest priority instead.
When switching between NOTIFICATION & ALARM modes, volume controls for the respective mode will show briefly.

v2.3
Support for custom / non-system sounds (requires read storage permission).

Hi, very good app, but there is one critical issue I just managed to discover, it picks the desired word for alarming, but as soon another notification comes it resets the previous alarm even though none of the other words in new notification are of any interest. So, if several notifications comes one after another I am missing the important alarm since it is coming for a brief moment and gets reset. Keeping the alarm in the loop doesn't help anything.

update: I followed your advice, but instead setting notification volume to zero, I selected 'none' as notification sound. but it would then be great if the app allows to set and play a default sound for notification from any app if no filter rule exists. also it would be great if i can decide if I play system notification sound OR system ring tones. at moment I can't select the nice short message sounds. thank a lot. I really like this app!

I cant disable system sound with out requesting extensive permissions, which is something im trying to avoid. The workaround for this is setting Notification volume to 0 and switching Alertify to ALARM mode in global settings. I will look into the bug :)

🤔 Hm. This is convenient...No, seriously, THIS app is convenient: As it turns out, the devs of Android 12 removed the option to assign a notification sound file to any of the apps on my phone or for certain functions, pre-installed or not; why da fuq they would do that is anyone's speculation, and I find it rather counterintuitive to my customization experience...Well, in a nutshell, Alertify has pretty much rectified that problem, and has thus far worked w/o a hitch for me. Thanx a bunch. 😁👍

What's new

- Added a message to remove power-saving restrictions from Alertify.
- Alertify will display a constant notification while the notification tracking service is running. If you see the notification disappear, try changing power saving settings (specifically for Alertify) and restarting your device.
