About this app

The MyTeleMed Android app allows doctors to securely manage their important medical messages with HIPAA Compliance by protecting any Personal Health Information (PHI).

How does it work?

Patients call your dedicated number that reaches TeleMed answering service which is available 24/7/365. Doctors are notified by receiving messages in the app. Doctors can also contact customer service directly through the app via phone and e-mail.

Doctors that use the MyTeleMed app receive push notifications that notify them of a new patient message. The doctor can click on the notification and open the patient messages within the MyTeleMed app. The message will contain the severity of the message, message details, and call back information. Doctor’s comments and callbacks on messages are logged with the time and duration of the call and even provide an option to record the call.

For an extra layer of message delivery assurance, TeleMed creates a customized escalation procedure that repeats messages or calls you within timelines you set. If you cannot be reached, the call is escalated to others per your instructions. You can manage your escalation procedures through our website or by contacting a TeleMed service representative by phone.

I really Don't like this app but have to use it because of work. It is very difficult to archive messages the screen skips often times and then you have to start all over again because the screen is refreshed before you can even delete or archive messages. Sometimes you cannot call directly and answer the pages from the apps screen. Sometimes it goes down and messages aren't sent immediately. Sometimes the app doesn't notify me when I have a message ...Very frustrated using this app

Figured out android issue... Stopped alerting , no app notification sound or visual of new alert. Thankfully they sent text there was a new alert. No info thru telemed how to fix, had recommendations to check phone settings etc. Did that to no avail. FIX: Uninstal and reinstall app. My entire job is oncall. People depend on me to answer quickly. Until this issue would give 5 stars.

Faulty system...works ok for a while then quits alerting when call comes in. Used to uninstall and reinstall which would fix it. Now not even that works. I had to change my phone ring to burglar alarm for all calls so when Telemed operator calls me on my phone to see why I didn't answer the call I won't miss a call. The last several weeks have been the absolute worst.
