I have the Birds of Southern Africa app as well, both work wonderfully together, but for some reason the Mammals app crashes when accessing the GPS on my phone, while the Birds' one functions correctly. Main reason for purchasing the app alongside the book, was to utilize the GPS location tagging, now that seems like a waste. I would also have loved to see Afrikaans as a language, but not a deal breaker. Please advise as to how the GPS issue could be resolved.

The inability to edit locality information is a real app killer. One therefore can't add sightings which one observed while driving or which one photographed earlier in the day for example. This is really a VERY significant omission in the app for serious users

Excellent App with relevant information and clear pictures & illustrations. Easy to use. The absence of AFRIKAANS names is however a huge shortcoming, especially since German and French names are available... these languages are hardly read or spoken in the sub region. Afrikaans is the second most used language in the sub regions and therefore Afrikaans names should be included. Please consider adding AFRIKAANS names...it would lift the rating to FIVE STAR!
