Explore the impact of charitable giving with the official Zakat Committee app in Wadi Al Maawal. Under the patronage of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, this noble work was established in its early stages as the Al-Ihsan Charitable Team on January 1, 2014. In 2017, zakat committees were established in some regions of the Sultanate, with their jurisdictions defined, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (2017/97). This resulted in the development of the team’s name to the Zakat Committee in the Wilayat of Wadi Al-Ma’awal, until August 19, 2021, when Ministerial Resolution No. (2021/352) was issued to reconstitute the Zakat Committee in the Wilayat of Wadi Al-Ma’awal in the South Al-Batinah Governorate.

At the core of our mission is the vision to promote charity as a sign of progress and a contribution to the development of society. Our goals aim to increase awareness among the residents of the region of the importance of the obligation of zakat and charity, as well as sponsoring orphans, emphasizing their role in promoting a cooperative society. Furthermore, the committee seeks to enhance awareness of the range of services it provides to zakat payers and registered beneficiaries.
