Who is Sheikh Muhammad Ayoub?
✅ He is Muhammad Ayoub bin Muhammad Yusuf bin Sulaiman Omar. He was appointed a cooperating imam in the Prophet’s Mosque in the year 1410 AH.
Sheikh Ayoub continued in it until the year 1417 AH, then he stopped leading the Prophet’s Mosque for nineteen years, to return and pray in the Prophet’s Mosque again in Ramadan 1436 AH, and Sheikh Muhammad Ayoub died on the 9th of Rajab in the year 1437 AH.
His birth and upbringing
✅ Muhammad Ayoub was born in Mecca in the year 1372 AH, corresponding to 1952. It is mentioned that he is of Burmese origin, and it was there that he grew up and received his initial education, where he memorized the Holy Qur’an at the hands of Sheikh Khalil bin Abdul Rahman Al-Qari in the year 1385 AH.
Sheikh Muhammad Ayoub obtained his primary certificate from the Qur’an Memorization School affiliated with the Ministry of Education in 1386 AH. Then the reciter Muhammad Ayoub moved to Medina and studied the middle and secondary levels at the Medina Scientific Institute, where he graduated in 1392 AH.
His university and legal studies
✅ Muhammad Ayoub joined the Islamic University and Sheikh Muhammad Ayoub graduated from the College of Sharia in 1396 AH. Then he specialized in interpretation and Qur’anic sciences, so he obtained a master’s degree from the College of the Qur’an. The subject of the thesis was “Saeed bin Jubair and his narrations in interpretation from the beginning of the Qur’an to the end of Surat Al-Tawbah.” . Muhammad Ayoub obtained a doctorate from the same college in 1408 AH, and the subject of the thesis was: “Said bin Jubair’s narratives in interpretation from the beginning of Surah Yunus to the end of the Qur’an.”
✅ In addition to his studies in government schools and the university, the reader Muhammad Ayoub studied with many sheikhs and scholars in the city and studied various types of legal sciences from them, including interpretation and its sciences, jurisprudence according to the four schools of thought, hadith and its sciences and terminology, interpretation and the principles of jurisprudence, and other things, and he was one of its sheikhs. :
