Kisah Ulama & Tabiin

Tabi'in is a Muslim who in his life met friends, but did not meet the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Tabiin and tabiiyat are the second best generation of Muslims who came after the best generation of Muslims, namely the next generation of the Prophet's companions.

Ulama are "people who know" or "knowledgeable people". So pious and ulama, linguistically, have the same meaning.

According to the current understanding, Ulama are those who are experts or have advantages in the field of knowledge in the Islamic religion, such as experts in tafsir, hadith science, kalam science, Arabic and paramasastra such as nerve, nahwu, balagah and so on.

The role of Ulama is to maintain the faith of the people, to be a pioneer of da'wah, to give good news, to give warnings, to convey evidence, to convey and explain treatises, to educate and improve society.

All of this is a prophetic task inherited from ulama.
