Adab (بدا) in Arabic means manners, good manners or good manners.
The overall meaning of Adab is all forms of attitudes, behavior or ways of life that reflect the values of courtesy, refinement, goodness, character or morals.
Adab is certainly important for humans, because etiquette is one part of noble morals which will require humans to become better individuals and be able to place themselves in a certain place and time.
Morals in Arabic come from the word khuluk which means behavior, temperament or character.
In terminology, morals are a person's behavior that is driven by a fundamental desire to perform an action.
There is a saying that "Adab is more important than knowledge," even the Prophet Muhammad was sent to perfect good morals.
Morals and Adab are so important that Allah Ta'ala places them as the most important thing.
Adab is higher than knowledge because adab is the foundation that a person must have before pursuing knowledge.
The purpose of Morals is to disconnect ourselves from love for the world, and instill in us love for Allah SWT.
So there is nothing more beloved than meeting Allah SWT and not using all one's wealth except because of and for Allah SWT.
