The Bob’s Taxi app is the Taxi Booking app for the city of Dartmouth, including services to and from Halifax Regional Municipality, Airport and all surrounding communities.
The Bob’s Taxi app features:
Book a ride in as few as 3 clicks!
Use the app and skip the telephone queue, which is nice during peak hours.
Type a note for the driver to help them find you.
See where your taxi is with live tracking.
Get a notification when the cab is near.
Set up future rides.
Save your common locations for quick access.
Call us straight from the app by tapping “Call Operator”. Use this for parties larger than 4, or for special needs or requests.
Bob’s Taxi is the largest and oldest cab company in Dartmouth. Our experienced staff and drivers provide over 500,000 rides annually. Drivers must adhere to Bob’s code of conduct rules and as well complete the municipal vulnerable sector and criminal records check.

Can't get it to load (stuck on the opening logo screen with the loading loop constantly spinning). I confirmed I have the newest version available in the app store and tried to force stop/clear cache, but it didn't fix anything. It is useless in the current state; if I could leave 0 stars I would, as I can't even access the app to use it. Sidenote/added info: The website says I can also book online, but no option is given. Where I live on Dartmouth side, I guess I'm stuck with Uber.

So when you book a car it just stays on "searching" forever. From the words of the incredibly rude dispatcher that's currently working there "booking in advance just adds you to the queue at that time" Essentially this app is useless just like their dispatcher. Luckily I had an awesome driver that justtttt got me to the airport in time. Gave that guy a big tip. But this app is trash and Bobs Taxis dispatcher is possibly the rudest person I've talked to in a service industry

Love the app but gave it one star only because I have sent multiple requests to reset my password as I've forgotten what it was. I'm being told the emails were sent. I haven't received them and yes, I've checked my spam/junk folder. No password means I can't use the app.
