About this app

Despite the abundance of comforts and remedies in the modern era, we are unable to beat disease. New diseases are coming and unrest is increasing. As a Muslim, if we look at the Qur'an as a complete guide to life, we find that Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an, "I have revealed in the Qur'an things that are healing and mercy for the believers." (Surah Bani Israel, verse 82)

So the question is whether we are seeking mercy! Maybe the question may arise who are following the path of Al-Qur'an, will they not be sick? How much do we do to stay healthy! Those who never get sick may be surprised because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Tell those who wish to see the people of Hell, let them see the one who has never been sick. That is, illness is also a great blessing for us. Now if we say that sickness and health both come from Allah, then why are we taking medicine unnecessarily? Medicine has no power! Hazrat Musa (a.s.) was afflicted once. The experienced people of the tribe of Israel said, 'such and such is medicine for this disease, you use it' He said, 'I will not take medicine, Allah Himself will cure me. His disease gradually increased. He did not agree to any medication, the pain did not go away. Meanwhile, the 'revelation' was revealed, 'O Musa! I swear on my glory, "Until you take medicine, I will not heal you." Then he was restored to health by taking medicine. Hadith Sharif has it, Hazrat Musa (A.S.) asked Allah, 'O Allah! What causes disease and cure or what causes it?' The answer came, 'Both occur at my command'. He asked again, 'Does the doctor have anything to do? The reply came, 'They have been created for the purpose of how many people will earn a living in medical work, medicine and keep my servants happy. ’ That is, people should trust in the one who created medicine, not trust anything in medicine, because many people are dying even after taking medicine. (The Purveyor of Good Fortune, Imam Ghazali (RA))

We are reluctant to accept that Allah Ta'ala gives disease for the welfare of his servant, but if he is a little sick, we start treatment quickly. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever spends a night with patience and forbearance while he is ill, Allah will make him innocent like a new-born child. "

So it is not right to get busy for getting rid of disease. A companion told the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) about his brother's illness, and he advised him to drink honey. On the second day, the companion again said, the disease is still the same as before. He again gave the same advice. On the third day too, when the news came that there was no difference in the illness, he said, "Allah's words are undoubtedly true, there is no fault in the medicine." The medicine did not work quickly because of the particular temperament of the patient. ’’ Then the patient was again made to drink honey and he recovered. (Tafseer Ma' Areful Quran, Page-747)

Allah Ta'ala's decision depends on the mood or idea of the servant. Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an, "From the bee's stomach comes out a colored drink, in which there is a remedy for the disease of man." Surely in it are signs for the thinking community. (Surah An-Nahl, verse 69) The life that Allah has given is the medicine for all aspects of human life. The cure requires the right doctor, diagnosis, right medicine and right regimen. The treatment of the disease depends on these four factors. Allah Ta'ala has created disease, He has also created medicine for it. (Bukhari) Finally, I will conclude with a saying of the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, narrated from Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (R.A.) that is, "Make two healing things essential for yourselves, one is honey (in food) and the other is Al-Qur'an." .
