Pointless, in both senses. I've been scanning for years and never reached a voucher. Waits until you're at the checkout, about to scan your membership, to reboot and then come back to the login screen when you were logged in moments earlier with the code displaying. Trying to keep up with packing your bags as the cashier whooshes your shopping through is flustering enough without this app adding to it.

Default for Fiver Rewards is criminal. Every other rewards app lets you choose when to apply your discounts but this automatically prints them at the till and not from the same place as receipts are printed. So if you are in a rush you can easily leave your hard-earned five quid at the till and there is no way of recovering it. Worse still you have to ask their CS to change the app setting so you can choose when to print rewards. It seems geared to making customers leave money on the table.

You'd need to spend so much money just to get a fiver off.. it's insane. Other than that the apps mostly pointless. Rarely any deals. Rarely anything related to what I actually purchase. Seems to just be deals on junk style foods. Student club is also pointless. No discount. Literally gets you nothing but a blank screen on the app. Stores going downhill generally, prices are higher than need be, staff is rude and now a pants app and membership scheme
