Was looking for a simple flash card based Chinese learning app to just learn characters and words, to supplement my other lesson format learning app, and this one hit all the marks. Simple and easy to use, and love that you are able to access all of the packs on a free account, although you are limited to one review at a time. I just finished the first beginner pack and may consider purchasing a subscription down the road.

Great app--no ads, minimal design, lots of vocabulary sets, and works well for memorization. The paid subscription is not intrusive and only paywalls a few small features. However, it only shows flashcards in one direction: it shows the Chinese characters and quizzes you on the pronunciation and definition. If the flashcards could work in reverse as well, that would be much better for learning. If it had this feature, it would easily be a 5-star app.

App with a great concept and design, but rather buggy. For the most part, the review and flashcards work as intended, but sometimes the cards glitch out (cards get stuck and I need to exit and resume) and the audio doesn't always match the word properly. The account creation doesn't work either (I've tried both the email and google option). Additional features such as card order randomization and dark mode would be nice. Despite it's flaws the app definitely is a great tool for learning Chinese!

Hey Anna, thanks for your review. We are currently working on a large update to take the app out of beta. This update will resolve all of the known bugs and make it easier to add your suggested features in the future. Be on the lookout for an update in the next month or so!

New features to make it easier to manage your vocabulary! Indicate words that you already know in bulk, and reset your progress to better tailor your learning experience.
