The Book of Heads, written by Maroun Abboud, is a literary treasure with which the writer knocks on the door of authentic literature on the page of history. Ali also demonstrated their ingenuity by mentioning examples of their poems, as he also mentioned in the Book of Heads the poetic purposes that were formed in each era according to the requirements of the social reality in it, as Maroun Abboud spoke in a portion of his book for the study conducted by Taha Hussein about Al-Mutanabbi’s poetry, and the sources of his poetry, And he was not satisfied with that, and he also talked about Sharif Al-Radi, the art of muwashahat, and his most famous figures. He also mentioned the importance of poetry to the Arabs as the purity of life, a lushness. At the end of the book, Abboud talked about Ahmed Shawqi, the prince of modern poets.
