About this game

Crack Attack is a gravity based match 3 block puzzle game with special chain and combo elements included for skillful players.
In Crack Attack, the player is presented with a play field consisting of a virtual grid of squares, each of which can be occupied by a colored block. Blocks are stacked on top of one another and rise steadily toward the top of the play field, with new blocks being added at the bottom. The player must arrange blocks in horizontal or vertical lines of three or more matching colors by swapping blocks horizontally two at a time. As matching lines are formed, the blocks are cleared from the screen and any blocks above them fall into the gaps. The game is over when the blocks touch the top of the play field, or another game-ending condition is met (such as reaching a time limit or clearing blocks below a set line).

Clearing more than three tiles in a single move scores a Combo, while Chains are scored when falling blocks from one clear cause another clear to occur. Both of these events score extra bonus points, and in multiplayer Versus games, these also send "garbage blocks" to the other player's play field.

Crack Attack provides several single-player modes.
Story Mode takes the player through the game's main plot, pitting the player against a series of foes in a head-to-head match. The objective is to cause the computer-controlled player to lose. In Endless Mode, the player is challenged to play as long as possible with a continuously rising stack of blocks, which increases in speed over time. Timed Mode challenges the player to score as many points as possible within a two-minute time limit, and Stage Clear mode takes the player through a series of stages in which the objective is to clear blocks below a set line. A Puzzle Mode is also provided, which presents the player with a number of puzzles where he or she must clear all of the blocks in a set number of moves (Blocks do not rise in this mode).

There are 2 VS modes (multiplayer) now. You can play with your friend if you are in the same local network(WIFI) or one creates the hot spot and the other joins. Of course you can also play with an AI if your friends are not nearby.

Enjoy!

Great game, amazing rendition! I like it a lot, I will give you guys a 5 star review when I love it, and I could grow to Love it if it had 2 things, payment option to remove ads forever and secondly, add to the Lan option, a true online multi-player experience, just in case I'm stuck in a social distancing moment and my friends are not nearby. Fantastic game and designers, I would throw money at my screen as I mentioned above for those features. Then I will give you a 5 star perfection rate.

Reminds me of Tetris Attack(TA) so I gave this a 5. However, please keep in mind that there's a big difference between touch screen mechanics and the original SNES controllers. Given that this is an android app, the combo system is a lot harder to do with touch screen. Just don't go in expecting to do your 8 to 9 chain combo you used to do in TA. This is the closest they can get to TA mechanics on a touch screen phone. If you want TA, just load up your emulator or better yet, buy TA off Amazon.

I like the snappy movement and the visual appeal is reminiscent of Tetris Attack. I took two stars off because the gravity is too high. Blocks fall almost instantly. Lag time is weird. And the controls are too stiff. These issues make combos and lag-chaining almost impossible. Add to that the dust effect when blocks land/clear breaks my line of sight so planning the next chain becomes an issue because I have to wait for the dust to settle before I can see what I'm doing.
