Meteo365 is the weather app that focuses on Basilicata and southern Italy. Not only does it provide forecasts for the region, but it also includes specific details for resort, beach, and mountain/ski locations with daily, three-hourly, and hourly forecasts.

It was born from the meeting between meteorologists and certified meteorological technicians, meteorological-mathematical modelers and computer programmers who decided to combine their passions and skills in order to offer a meteorological service
constantly updated and improved with new useful and innovative features.

Forecasts are available for all municipalities in the Basilicata region and national provincial capitals.
Furthermore, the focus on Basilicata allows us to offer forecasts for the numerous mountain resorts such as the ski resort in Sellata, Monte Pierfaone, the Sirino Massif, Montagna Grande di Viggiano, Monti Li Foj, the Pollino Massif, Monte Volturino and Mount Vulture. In addition, forecasts are also available for the major seaside locations such as Castrocucco di Maratea, Porto di Maratea, Lido di Metaponto, Nova Siri scalo and Marina di Pisticci.

State of the sea
In addition to forecasts on wave height, length and period, Meteo365 provides information on wind direction and speed in knots. This allows users to comprehensively assess marine conditions and plan their activities accordingly.

Another innovative function present in Meteo365 is the one that simultaneously associates the state of the sky with the state of the sea. This translates into greater awareness for users regarding the general state of marine and meteorological conditions which can be particularly useful for organizing trips at sea.

Sand
The new Meteo365 service has introduced a new feature that includes forecasting so-called "sand rain", which occurs when a large amount of desert dust (or "dust") is found in the atmosphere along with precipitation.

In fact, through the use of sophisticated meteorological models, Meteo365 is able to combine precipitation forecasts with data on the concentration of dust in the atmosphere to provide precise and reliable forecasts of sand rain.
