If you play more than one of my Ancient Games, I suggest you delete the individual apps and install the main one (Ancient Games). It will allow you to play them all and save disk storage.
The past is full of fascinating board games that haves been mostly forgotten. The Ancient Games collection aims to resurrect them as a meticulously crafted mix between what a player wants from an historical game and what he/she expects of a modern application.
-Play against the IA, friends and random players from around the world.
-Play Online & Offline.
-Multiple collectibles : boards, game pieces, dice, nameplates, etc.
-Challenges (Fun rule variants)
-Free cloudsave across the collection : your progress in one game is available in all the others.
-Much more features to come!
-Languages : English, French, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Spanish, German, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Russian.
Currently, the collection is comprised of four games : the Royal Game of Ur, Senet, XII Scripta and Puluc, but 40 games are in the works!

Good game, it just needs to add time limit for rounds otherwise some oponents will make you to abandon the game by going afk. Not cool. Some fixes needs to be done (playing with friend), however the game support is good and fast. If these issues get fixed, I'll be happy to change the rating to 5*.

These issues (friend invites and afk timer not starting) are part of the same bug and will be resolved in the next update.

The Royal game of Ur stands the test of time with a fresh new face. Although peppered with in-game purchases, the original version keeps its edge, now with customizations, PvP, and an improved AI. While the change is sudden for those who haven't followed the developments on the app store, and the profiles have unfortunately been reset, the base game remains the same, with additional features added. I haven't tested the reliability of the PvP, but it does add a dimension of fun.

Hi the profiles were wiped because Amazon purchased and closed the company providing the server. Players had over a year to migrate. The paid stuff are only optional game modes, the base game is still there for free with customizable rules also free. Edit : Not acquisition, my server got wiped by Amazon. I didn’t have a choice but to start over

I enjoy this app and game but there are a couple of issues. Has anyone ever managed to play an online game, never any lobbys and noone ever comes to mine when I make one. Since the reskon and expansion off the app the game is frequently giving myself and opponent free extra rolls when landing on a normal square rather than marked ones.

For the free rolls, check the Rule Editor, you will be able to select the reroll behavior. I see daily entries for online games in the database so there are some happening. Sadly the player base isn't that big and it is scattered around many timezones. If I could conjure more players, I would ;) But I have something in the works that *might* help.
