This novel series by Ahmad Al Hamdan consists of two parts, the first part of which is titled “The City of Love Is Not Inhabited by Reasonable People,” and the second is titled “You Are All My Beautiful Things.”

The first part tells, “The City of Love is Not Inhabited by the Wise,” which is 143 pages long, a story of longing and separation for a woman, whose hero tried to draw the attention of his beloved by putting his picture on the cover, so that she might pass by this book and hold on to it, and read the dedication page to know that he wrote this book for her and for her. ; To tell her that he was sorry for everything that had passed, and that he was and still loves her.

And the novel says: “There is only one person we fall in love with, and everything that comes after him is forgotten. In this absence, I discovered that separation is sometimes beneficial, as it makes us feel the value of those whom we did not care about, those who left us before we realized that we could not bear it.” live without them.”

To admit at the end of his novel, saying: “Finally, you are the only battle in which I am proud to have been defeated.”

As the climax of the events of the second part, “You are all my beautiful things,” which is 222 pages long, began, when a little girl came carrying in her hand a bundle of papers that she presented to the protagonist, and a girl sent them with her. The papers find these words: “I no longer love you, I no longer miss you, I do not want you, I do not yearn for you, I do not think about you, and tomorrow I remember you by mistake so I laugh a lot instead of crying for you, you know?!, I hate you so much because you are the only one who knows that I am lying In all that I have written to you..."

Here the conflict reaches its climax and the hero becomes suspicious that she is the girl, so he smells her perfume everywhere and keeps looking for her but does not find her, and when he turns the second page he reads: “In your absence I learned that everything can be done, sir, except forgetting you! You are the only thing that will remain in the memory, and you The one thing I will never stop loving even if it's far, far away..."

On the third page, the hero makes sure that she is the girl whose name ends in the tied letter Taa when he reads: Do you know?! I still keep your red roses, the ones you gave me when you came to propose to me!, and every night I slip a rose under my pillow to tell me, in a suffocating voice, emanating from under the pillow after I fell asleep: “that you love me, and that I still remove all your beautiful things.”

Finally, the hero leaves her a message at the end of his novel, saying: “There are things that will not come, no matter how long we wait for them, and things that may come, but they will be too late. Except you, you are always in my heart all my beautiful things.
