About this app
Smart me is a free app to (remotely) control all your Marmitek Smart me products or devices. Stay in control of your home, even when you're on holiday! With our Smart me products (e.g. Wi-Fi LED light bulbs, cameras, sensors, power plugs, doorbells) you can create a pleasant, safe and above all smart living environment in no time at all. Switch lights and devices on and off whenever you want and keep an eye on your home with our cameras, sensors and the Smart me app on your smartphone/tablet. All products are plug & play; all you need to get started is the Smart me app, a stable Wi-Fi network and our products. You can also let the Smart Me products interact with each other. If a Smart me sensor, camera or doorbell detects movement, you can have a Smart me Wi-Fi LED light bulb switch on automatically. It is also possible to combine several light bulbs in a scenario to create the right atmosphere for a movie night on the couch or a romantic dinner for two.

Well i'm barely using this app, because i have connected my devices to my Google home app. The visual interface isn't too good, but of course it's much more important that the Background Stuff works, and it does.

I like that it's easy to use! Would love it if there were better widgets available, like putting the pressable buttons/controls or specific lamps on the homescreen of my phone!

On an Android device you can go to the Smart me app, select your product, click at the top right and select Add to home screen to add to your home screen.

Why do I need to activate an account and register location. This can work fine without that. Do you want to spy on us? When it is for weather, then have me just set an location. And you also do not explain why I should need an account.

The location is used to check your local weather, so you can make scenarios on that. It is also used for the Location scenario. That way you can make a scenario, that when you are arriving at home and it is dark, the lights at your front door go on automatically.
