[Update of 20210913]The program works but contains numerous bugs that still have to be fixed. There are issues with the built-in keyboard that does not contain all of the characters needed to complete the exercises and there is a variety of mostly small linguistic errors in the lessons and the exercises. Despite promises, nothing has been fixed so far. I have therefore reduced my rating from 4 to 3. [Original review of 20210721] Please note that the information about this app is wrong. Assimil's website states the following: **Android: compatible with the latest version and three prior versions.** Because of the information provided here by Mantano (Requires Android 4.4 and up) I had installed the application on a Samsung SM-T310 (Android 4.4.2) which was awful to use and hardly worked at all and on a Samsung SM-T580 (Android 6.0.1) which worked less badly but not well and I was thoroughly disappointed. However, yesterday I installed it on a Samsung SM-T220 (Android 11) which I bought specifically for this reason and that works just fine, and I love it. The only thing I find annoying so far is that the keyboard often (usually) covers the exercise one is using it with. It is easily adjusted, but since it has to be done very often, it also quite annoying. Language-wise, this is Assimil, and it has Assimil's quality, arguably the best language courses available anywhere. So, in short, make sure you have a recent tablet and you will be happy with this application, even more than on a Windows computer, which requires annoying logins all the time that often go wrong. I give it 4 stars. It should be 5 for the language, but about 3 for the user interface. I should add that there are several small bugs in the program, such as the missing letter 'w' on the keyboard that comes with the app. However, I have not found any bugs that make the app unusable so far, they are merely annoyances.
