Feels like I have to do more work with this app. There is some slow zooming thing that's happening when you arrive at the pickup location. It moves your view from where the pickup is. I feel like the programmers did something weird with the map connections. When you click the icon to see the destination, it does another slow Zoom action. It's so annoying that I physically have to do the finger pinch to zoom out myself.

Overall, this app is ok. I give 3 stars because the LYFT Driver GPS navigation is very unreasonable sometimes. There are a lot of better routes that you can sometimes take, and it takes a minute for gps to re-calculate. Another reason for 3 stars is that when you want to speak to a live human being agent (and not chat with them), you have the hardest time doing so, unless it's an emergency situation. Other than that, the app works well offline or online.

Mapping is dysfunctional as you get closer to your rider. It lags behind real-time by as much as 20 seconds. This issue leads to inefficiency, delays, unhappy riders, and puts drivers in DANGEROUS situations. For example, Lyft's map failed to guide me into a parking lot. 10 seconds after driving past it, I was directed to immediately do a u-turn -- unfortunately, I was on a high-speed expressway at 50 MPH. Turning left at that point would have meant jumping a curb, + several traffic violations.
