Lumary

You can't create groups and control groups of lights at the same time. You can create scenes, but if for example you decide you want to turn all the lights green, or you want to dim all the lights, you can't do it. I have 8 lights. You have to set one light at a time. Really poor app as functionality goes. Seems like a basic requirement to want to control all lights at the same time.

Lights would be great with a proper app, this app is so crippled its not funny, can't save scenes, can't set custom color sets and then animate in any way, unless you use a junk template with few options. For the money spent on these lights I expected a lot more flexibility! Probably will end up returning these lights for some with a good app and controllability! I have better control of the leds on my car, which were a lot cheaper! So disappointing!! Just sad really!

ANOTHER UPDATE: I now have 3 of the lights installed, and the app has been working perfectly with them. Will order two more lights UPDATED REVIEW: I did a factory reset on my Note 8, which had been getting very very slow recently, and after the clean install the Lumary app has been working perfectly! So upgrading my score to 4 stars for now. If it continues to work well after installing more lights I'll upgrade to 5 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have 8 ceiling lights I wanted to replace with color smart lights, so I bought one Lumary Wifi Downlight 4 inch light to try it out. The light is pretty good, from what I can tell, but it's kind of worthless without an app to control it. Unfortunately the app (version 1.0.6) is very buggy. Most of the time (but not always) it works to turn the light on and off, and if I can do that then I can usually adjust the brightness as well. The problem comes when I try to adjust the color ... most of the time it just doesn't respond. In fact, most of the time the app won't even change from the 'white' tab to the 'colour' tab ... it doesn't seem to register that you've touched the app! Because the app is so bad I won't be buying another 7 Lumary lights, and will probably send back the one I did buy. A shame ... I really wanted it to work.
