Fahd Amer Al-Ahmadi Al-Harbi (born September 28, 1967), a famous Saudi writer, considered one of the most prominent columnists in Al-Riyadh newspaper. He began his writing career by publishing his first article in Al-Madina newspaper on August 17, 1991, under the title “Siberian Explosion.” He moved to Al-Riyadh newspaper and published his first article there on September 21, 2000, and he continues to be a daily contributor to its pages. He is considered one of the highest paid Saudi writers currently.


He was born in the popular Al-Atan neighborhood in Medina, and grew up in the home of his maternal grandmother, who belonged to the Al-Saqabi family from Subaie in Al-Bada'i. He earned the nickname "Fahd Al-Saqabi" because of his appreciation and fondness for his grandmother. He enjoys a stable family life with his doctor wife and their five children.


He studied in Medina schools until high school, then moved on to study geology at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, but he switched to computers and did not complete his studies. After that, he tried to move to study at Hamline University in Minnesota, USA, but returned after a short period. It is reported that he is fluent in speaking 10 languages, including English and other languages ​​that he acquired from his interaction with visitors to the Holy Mosque.


Since his childhood, Fahd was fond of reading. He loved books and put cultural books inside his school books to hide them from his family and pretend to be studying. He tried to enroll in several universities in different specializations, but he did not complete his studies and left the university without obtaining a bachelor’s degree.


He wrote more than 6,000 articles, and published many books, including “Al-Zawya,” which included 100 articles, and “Around the World 1,” which contains 78 different topics. He also published the book "Pistachio Theory", which sheds light on positive ways of thinking and judging matters.
