LIVALL Riding

Just realised that for some reason the app keeps turning my helmet lights off! I turn helmet on, lights start flashing as they always have, I open the livall app and the lights turn off! Checked settings and it is set to come come on automatically, it's been dark for an hour, so should be on! Check light flash type and nothing is ticked!!! I select default light type and my helmet lights come back on. Great, But If you close the app, you have to repeat it all again, app broken! Please fix!

Worked perfectly the first time we used it. 5 Stars and two very happy customers. The next day, the radio function suddenly was very quiet on one helmet, and messages could barely be understood. Very disappointing. One Helmet will probably be sent back to be checked on. Also, the App constantly turns on the displays of both phones it's used on. This uses up more battery and heats up the phones. We would be very, happy if you fixed this!

To create the account there is a "send" code. It is confusing. It should be "get" instead. Then cellphone code never arrived. I noticed an email tab and tried that. The code arrived and I was able to copy and paste it just in time (there is a countdown that gives you quite short time to do it). I recommend to fill all except the code and then copy/paste it once received. The app uses a lot of energy despite of being closed. It is ok but for this high price I expected a lot more or better : 1) the app/device/helmet has two buttons to test the turning lights. The app does NOT have a page that replicates the remote's buttons. Just these buttons under settings. I use this helmet with an electric unicycle but it is not easy to carry the remote. Instead the phone is on my wrist with all the apps I use while riding. 2) I wanted the lights ON also during daylight, for safety purposes. Turning light adaptation OFF made it. Great. 3) Light settings have some modes but NONE let you keep the lights ON all the time, nor just the center red section. And none of the blinking modes have a decent speed rate. They all are super slow with a long pause in between flashes. It would have been very useful to have a mode with the red section blinking fast and another steady on. No customizing options. 4) The helmet feels quite heavy and looks also quite big but it works. The problem is that when adjusting the straps there is no way to center the soft section. Only the right side can be adjusted. Therefore I ended with the plastic connector in a bad place. You may not have this problem, but if the straps are not really able to adjust in the center, another system should have been used. This is way sub-standard. 5) Since the helmet has an accs sensor, it would have been awesome to provide a way (by shaking the head or tapping a side) to trigger the turning lights. The remote works but it is one more thing to care about and carry. 6) I did not find on the app a way to update the helmet's firmware so I guess not updates fixing these details should be expected. In summary: I think I will keep the helmet after all but in general I would not recommend this helmet/app system to my friends considering what you get v/s what you paid for. The idea is good but not fully developed, a lot where to improve and it is way too expensive.
