About the Ayurveda and Siddha System

Charaka Maharshi is known as the father of Ayurveda, and Agathiyar is the father of Siddha. Ayurveda & Siddha diagnosis of the disease is made on the basis of three humors, known as vata, kapha, and pitta in Ayurveda & Siddha. These humors determine a person's physiological, mental, and emotional health. When the humors are in balance they help in achieving a better quality of health. However, when not in balance they can cause dissolution and various adverse effects in the human body. Also, the Identification of causative factors is through the examination of pulse, body type, urine, eyes, the study of voice, color of body, tongue, and the status of the digestive system. And nowadays some modern tools of investigation such as scans and Blood tests are also used before treating a patient. This means the treatment has to be individualistic, which ensures that mistakes in diagnosis or treatment are minimal.
