Doel Sumbang, whose real name is Abdul Wahyu Affandi (born in Bandung, West Java, May 16, 1963; age 57 years) is a musician from West Java. He started his career in theater at the "Braga Theater". It was from there that he got the nickname "Doel", the name "Sumbang" is associated with his eccentric, vulgar and silly songs. Doel Sumbang is also known as a Sundanese musician. He sings a song about life around Sunda. Doel Sumbang also played several times as a songwriter for a number of singers in Indonesia, such as Ikko, Ita Purnamasari, Yhanti Yuning, also in the duet Agnes Monica and Eza Yayang, who at that time was still a child singer on the Yess! album.
