Ireceuve news notifications. But, when you click the notification it does not tags you to the app or the article. And then you have to search for it. So instead i just use my WFAA app. Sad to say that it won't allow you to go full screen on a video either. It used to allow am article to be shared. The app now doesn't allow you to share a news article. Very, very sad. And if you click on a notification that you receive, it doesn't take you to open the app. Lame !

I only downloaded this app because CBS DFW is discontinuing their weather app. I strongly dislike the new weather application. I have to input my city every time I use it. It's very difficult to navigate and it has done away with helpful features - like the radar! In it's place is a temperature map. What? I don't care about that. I want the radar! I also want easy-to-read 10-day forecast. The weather feature on this app is very poorly designed. I'll be looking for better weather apps.

This is not an equivalent replacement for the weather app. It has been stripped off all of the functionality the previous app has. A temperature map is not useful when you are trying to track a weather storm. None of the useful map layers are available or the playback. If this is what they have moving forward, it's going to take a long time to for so of those features to transfer. This is more of a news app with some weather information that you can easily get on most phones by default.
