Used to be able to watch live local news. then they switched apps... The CBS LOCAL app has love broadcasts, less ads and you could customize your feed. Both have just about as many bugs and crashes. I'm sticking to the old one that doesn't have such intrusive ads. (Like this one's multiple ads on the home screen feed!) If you're going to abandon one app for another, make sure it's better.

I had 'CBS 13 NEWS SACRAMENTO' on my old phone. When I downloaded it to new phone, it will NOT open, matter of fact I tried to open on old phone but same thing, IT WILL NOT OPEN! I saw there was an update and since new update, I can't use app. Fix it soon. I sent feedback all 7 time I Uninstalled and downloaded AGAIN AND AGAIN!

I installed this app in early June 2020. I uninstalled within 1 week because I was constantly getting news notifications approximately every hour. There is no option to NOT receive notifications. Would be nice to have that option like another local station has on theirs.
