Te Puāwai is an educational resource for NZQA staff to learn about basic Tikanga and te reo Māori to support their day to day mahi (work).
Interactive features within the app include pronunciation of Māori words, maps with Māori names and iwi groups, values (Ngā Mātāpono), and principles, mihimihi/pepeha (introductions), ngā mihi (greetings), poroporoaki (farewells), whakataukī (proverbs), and waiata (songs).
One of the app’s key features is that it allows staff to input their own personal information to create a customised pepeha. NZQA staff will find this resource particularly helpful when leading, or being part of discussions that involve Māori communities.

Sadly, before this app will even open and run it requires access to my media files without explanation or limits of access and use of. So uninstalled immediately.

As you will see in the description the app has a feature to populate your own Pepeha with personal info and photos.
The app cannot natively share any content. We have also amended the security settings to firm up these security requests. Thanks for your concern though!!

Whyyyyyyy, for the love, why ohh why do you need access to my files & photos. Why should you get free reign? Disappointed! Uninstall.
