I bought this directly from their website, because I wanted to be able to track my dogs whenever we hike somewhere unfamiliar. When I first tried it, the app wasn't able to find the kippy even though it was placed right next to me. I contacted the customer service and they told me to reset it. It worked then, but when I tried to use it again a few weeks later: same issue. Messaged the customer service outlining the issue, received a standard response that didn't help at all. Would not recommend!

App is not as accurate as the display shows. The device is also very hard to turn off so it uses up a lot of charge. App also not very reactive when selecting settings such as live tracking off. Value for money at 4€ for the 2 year plan but definitely would not pay more. Edits: app very slow to start live mode but otherwise accurate. App randomly turns on over night, and wastes battery. Start up slow after last update. Accuracy improved.

We have been using the Kippy Vita consistently for 2-3 years. It has been a great way track our cat when he goes outdoor. Keeps track of his activy in a comprehensive way and the live tracking is a great method to call him back home at night. Since the new app update it hasn't been as consistent as before, but still keeps track as it should. Hope to see continues effort to update the app to make it as effective and efficient as possible.
