To measure your progress, you will be training a puppy which will advance through its lessons as you learn Sheepshead (aka Schafkopf). Puppy raising tips come from 16 years of service-dog training experience.
This is a fun family table card game along the lines of other trick-taking games like Spades, Hearts, Euchre, etc.

Happy to see sheepshead game app. Fun to play. The layout gives a relaxed feel to the game. Nice tutorial. One thing that I can't get past now that I have been playing a while is that the scoring changes. At the start of a game it gives correct scoring, but then doubles after a few hands. Gives +/- 2 points when Schneider is made and 4 when not. (I never have the doubler turned on). It might be an unnoticed quirk or a deliberate way of hurrying the game to an end after a few hands.

Thx for the review and thanks for playing! There is a setting to turn on/off Doublers. If it's on, the score is doubled if everyone passes. Then it should revert to single after one hand.

Game play is OK, AI seems pretty good most of the hands. Needs an "Undo" button, especially on discards. Please add an Undo feature. Sometimes legal partner selection suits don't show up as an option. Will not allow choice of a 10 for a partner when burying an Ace or other points. The dog training thing is distracting and unnecessary for game play, but it's free, so that the price to play. Better game play than other sheepshead games in play store.

Thx for the review, the compliment of the AI's gameplay, & suggestion for an undo feature.
I can almost guarantee there is not a bug with the partner selection. 'Call and Ace' partner is quite complicated. For example, you cannot pick a 10 as partner unless you have all three aces. Send me any examples you think are wrong and I'll address them.

Enjoy the app. Just lately sometimes I havent been able to choose cards for the blind. The app freezes. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling, but I just recently had been able to increase the skill level and agressiveness of players, and Im afraid I'll lose that.
