It's definitely one of the best and aesthetically pleasing retro pixel out there. It's not exactly a casual game, but it's not that hard either. The game is challenging enough to draw you in, yet not punishing to push you away. I also like how the game progresses. The stars you get from each stage are not exclusive for the character you use in obtaining them, encouraging you to try different characters. Please consider adding a multiplayer function.

Fun old school action platformed with quality 16 bit graphics and smooth as butter animation. It's got good puzzle design if you're looking for perfect runs, where RNG has very little to do with it. If a hostage dies or you get overrun, it's on you and not just bad luck. A bit fiddly with touch controls, but more than manageable, and you're never more than 5 seconds away from restarting if it all goes bad. Also, no micro transactions. You're paying for a game, and then you have the game.

It's pretty fun, I admittedly spent more time playing a few times than intended just because I got drawn in. A few character are pretty much useless beyond the first chapter or two unfortunately. Id like it if there was actually a stealth way to do more, but for what it is, it's worth a play. Music is great. You need to play with sound due to audio cues about hostage execution.
