His studies were in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, where Sheikh Khalid Al-Ghamdi received all stages of pre-university education, where the Scientific Institute had two stages (intermediate and secondary), and after that Khalid Al-Ghamdi joined Umm Al-Qura University in the College of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion and specialized in the Department of Book and Sunnah, and received His lessons were taught by a number of eminent scholars, including:
Sheikh Saeed Al-Abdullah, Sheikh of Hama, read the Qur’an to him according to the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim.
- Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar Al-Droubi, he recited it to Assem Barawiyeh and Ibn Kathir Al-Makki.
- Sheikh Hussein Khaled, he recited to him the narration of Hafs and the narration of Qalon Warsh on the authority of Nafi`.
- Sheikh Muhammad Salih Al-Habib, in Alfiya Ibn Malik in Arabic grammar.
Sheikh Muhammad Al-Khidr Al-Naji, one of the students of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Shanqeeti, in Adwa Al-Bayan and in Qatar Al-Nada by Ibn Hisham.
- Sheikh Muhammad Al-Mukhtar Al-Shanqeeti, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, and he studied for him in Zad Al-Mustaqni’ in Fiqh.
- Sheikh Muhammad Sidi Al-Shanqeeti, and he is one of the students of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Shanqeeti, and he studied in Al-Luma’ by Al-Shirazi in the principles of jurisprudence and others.
And other great sheikhs such as Ibn Baz, Ibn Uthaymeen and Sheikh Al-Bassam who used to hold knowledge sessions in the Sacred Mosque.
Sheikh Khalid Al-Ghamdi was awarded a bachelor’s degree with an excellent general grade from Umm Al-Qura University in the Department of Kitab and Sunnah at the College of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion.
He was appointed as a teaching assistant at the same university in the Reading Department.
- Sheikh Khaled Al-Ghamdi obtained a master’s degree with an excellent general grade from the same college in the Department of Readings, in the specialization of readings.
Khaled Al-Ghamdi obtained a doctorate degree with an excellent general grade from the same college in the field of interpretation.
The reader, Khaled Al-Ghamdi, was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of the Qur’an and its sciences.
