About this app

You can check your device for Project Treble support, A/B (Seamless) System Updates support, CPU architecture and system-as-root support using Treble Check. Using this information, you can determine which Generic System Image (GSI) variant you should use to flash onto your device. The result is out in an instant!

Traditionally, you can check your device information through Android Debug Bridge or Terminal Emulator. With Treble Check, the process is automated for you and gives you the result without any hassle. Simple open the app and voila, results are already presented in a clear and concise manner!

Features
—  Checks for Project Treble support

—  Checks for the CPU architecture of the device, such as 32-bit ARM, 32-bit ARM with 64-bit binder, 64-bit ARM, x86 and 64-bit x86
—  Checks for system-as-root support
—  Material design-compliant UI
—  Dark theme

Project Treble helps manufacturers to upgrade their devices to newer versions of Android with ease. This is achieved by separating the hardware-specific code from the Android OS through an HIDL interface. This allows the Android OS to be replaced without rebuilding the hardware-specific code. In addition, devices that support Project Treble can also install generic system images based from new versions of Android to experience the latest features on their devices. In theory, with the help of this initiative, devices should be getting faster Android version updates. 💯

Amazing app! Incredibly simple, well put together, minimalist, functional, and to top it all off . . . . NO ADS! It does what it says it does, and nothing more. Thank you to the Dev! The info on Project Treble in the app is a nice touch, especially for folks who aren't as tech savvy. P.S. - To anyone who removed a star because your device doesn't have Treble support, or has Treble support but not seamless updates . . . . you are CLEARLY missing the point of the app! Don't punish the developer because your OEM didn't implement Treble and/or A/B partition support! To the developer: Keep up the great work!!

I tried to check for Treble compatibility on my RedMagic 8 Pro device and it stated "unsupported" but when I tried checking with another Treble checker app where it stated as "supported" and even double checked by using getprop ro.treble.enabled on termux, it's showing "true". So this app is pretty much useless.

Assuming the info provided is accurate, it's very good to know. Easy to use and this is the only method I've yet heard of to determine if my version uses/implements Treble. It does, good to know! But if manufacturer doesn't release updates more often, as this is supposed to facilitate, then it doesnt matter too much. The mfg just needs to issue updates more often
