For the hobbyist, connect to USB-Serial devices and send/monitor serial data. Connect to devices containing USB-Serial chips such as FTDI, Mega16u2, CH340, CP210x and PL230x.

I have been trying to find an app that would be the equivalent of running Teraterm on a PC. This is the only app I have found that can connect to my FTDI cable. What I want is to type a character and have it sent immedtately. With this app I must clear the input window (1), click on the input window (2), type in the pop-up window (3), close the pop-up by hitting "ok" (4), then type the send button. So 5 actions just to send 1 character. In addition it drops the first two charcters coming back.
