When I got my lightstick it worked the first time and then wouldn't reconnect. I finally figured out if you go to Settings-Apps-SeventeenLightstick-Storage then clear the cache and data it will then start working again. Hopes this helps some people who were stuck in my position as the app instructions to fix the issue didn't work. Other than the update pop up and the connection issue the app works fine, however it was a very frustrating flaw I couldn't figure out how to fix for months.

For Carats who couldn't update their lightstick and can't use the app anymore, try to reset your Carat Bong. Really long press until it flashes different colors (but don't try to connect to the app yet! and maybe remove and put back the batteries before you do this) and it should be able to connect again. Hope this helps! The app works fine for me now.ππ

When I try to connect my carat bong, it flashes blue but after that ot shows try again. It's confusing cause the steps says once it flashes blue it is successfully connected. But it's not. There is no register ootion after the scanning. Only try again. Everytime I do the scanning, it flashes blue light but says try again. When I tried to play with the light modes, it's unaccessable. The app can't control the light on my carat bong. PS. This carat bong has been used and activated on diff phone
